FAQ

1.What is your favorite thing to photograph?

  • I am personally a huge fan of photographing objects.  My most favorite pictures are those of deserted places and things.  I find it very fun looking around for a place or object to take a picture of such as an old barn, a decrepit bird house, or a cool place on a landscape.

2. What equipment do you use?

  • Right now I am using a borrowed Olympus E.PL1 but I hope to eventually buy a Nikon D-750 to help with low light photography.

3. How did you get into band and event photography?

  • Although it is much more strenuous and difficult all around, I enjoy the thrill and creativity you can gain from event photography.  There are a lot of conflicting and focused lights which you can work with to create the perfect shot. It takes a lot of focus and thought and I enjoy pushing my abilities as a photographer.

4. Outside of photography, what are you interested in?

  • I have a huge passion for cars and planes.  I aspire to be a pilot and want to use that to buy a slew of interesting and fast cars.

5. Who is that person in like 50% of your pictures?

  • That's my friend Nick Stampone.  If he ever finds a new band, I already have a place to take a cover photo.

6. What is your favorite camera brand.

  • I’m a Nikon guy.  I think it’s probably because my first real camera was a Nikon point a shoot.  I used it a ton on a trip to England and it worked perfectly and the pictured turned out good enough for 4th grade me.

7. What is your favorite genre of music?

  • I vary in between alternative rock and newer rap.  Green Day slaps and so does Post Malone and Yung Gravy.

8. What artist would you drop everything to photograph.

  • If Post Malone hit me up to shoot a show for him, I would be on the first plane out to wherever it is.

9. Sports?

  • As a true Caucasian, I play golf.  There is a strong possibility I will take pictures of the Northern Trust tournament over the summer, so stay tuned.

10. Apple or windows.

  • Apple has a superior operating system but windows had better hardware. Depends what I’m working on.  Apple phones are best all around and I don’t care what anyone says.
